MSI’s CeBIT booth, product line sizzle
Representative to Germany visits
CeBIT, the world’s largest annual electronics and information show, opened today (March 1) in Hanover, Germany. This year, world-renowned ICT designer and producer MSI is showing off an impressive array of new industry-leading products. It has set up an exciting booth to underscore the Performance. Sound. Vision of its products and a huge display area to show the competitive advantages of its products. MSI’s achievements in terms of both products and performance at CeBIT highlight how the company stands shoulder to shoulder with other big names in computer electronics around the world.
On the first day of the show, MSI had a heavyweight visitor—ROC Representative to Germany Mr. Wei Wu-lien (center of photo on right) personally visited the booth where he was received by MSI Senior Vice President Henry Lu. Wei, who expressed a keen interest in MSI products, checked out every product at the booth and even tried some of them out, including the new WindPad. MSI felt honored by the praise Wei lavished on its product line.
MSI displayed an entire series of all-new, all-in-one PCs, the designs of which stress high performance, true colors, and “Smart for Life.” It also unveiled the well received Wind Top AP 2011, a business version that boasts a super slim body and all-new ID design to minimize desktop footprint. The first in the industry to sport LED panels, these AIOs use some 30% less power than traditional CCFL panels, helping businesses cut their electricity bills, while pampering the environment.
MSI rolled out over 20 new models of notebook computers in five major series, including the unchallenged king of gaming laptops—the G Series, the high performance F Series, the deluxe multimedia C Series, the gorgeously slim X Series, and the highly mobile U Series of netbooks. All come with Intel or AMD’s latest generation processors as well as the latest display chips.
MSI is showing its much anticipated Big Bang-Marshal (B3) game-grade motherboard as well as the high quality, highly stable Military Class II standards and OC Genie II smart overclocking technology. Boasting stability and performance, these products underscore the thrust of and concept behind MSI motherboard products for 2011. MSI also officially rolled out its N580GTX and R6970 Lightning graphics cards which come with such features as the Power4 power architecture (used in very few products in the industry as a whole), 18 power supply design (N580GTX comes with 16), the Proadlizer capacitor, independent memory power supply input, and the metal Mosfet design. It is equipped with Twin Frozr III with Propeller Blade and SuperPipe technologies to significantly improve cooling performance.
A lot of people have been asking questions about the WindPad, because this is the first time that MSI has shown its new generation WindPad tablet computers. MSI has three of them, including WindPad 100W and 110W with the Win-Tel platform and the WindPad 100A with the Android platform. All three tablets have the G-Sensor gravity detecting device, ALS light sensor, and Wi-Fi data transfer. Their beautifully stylish exteriors underscore MSI’s industry-leading innovation and impressive R&D capabilities.

At CeBIT 2011, MSI is also debuting three concept products, including the Dual Pad tablet with two screens, the WindPad with cradle docking, and the Staging projector tablet computer.
On the evening of the first day of the show, MSI held the “MSI Night Party” at its booth, inviting members of the media and clients to come and let their hair down to tunes cranked out by a number of well-known singers asked by MSI to perform. A wonderful time was had by all and MSI Night Party reached a climax with a much anticipated drawing.
