Four Powerful MSI Laptop Series Take the field at Computex 2011

The new platforms taking center stage this year have given MSI the opportunity to bring its R&D capabilities into full play. Taking point at Computex 2011 is the battle-ready GT780 gaming notebook which continues to make a name for itself as the fastest laptop in the world. The four major high performance series include the powerful G Series of gaming notebooks, the C Series of high performance multimedia NBs, the supercar F Series, and the X Series made up of the most powerful ultra-slim laptops ever. All four series will be shown concurrently in booth L607 at the Taipei World Trade Center in Nangang.
Taipei—The doors to Computex 2011, one of the biggest international computer exhibitions on the planet, will be open between May 31 and June 4. MSI will be taking the field with its first string players, which incorporate components that mark the latest technological achievements by Intel, AMD, and nVidia. It will be showing four major series of notebooks, featuring the newest processing platforms and powerful visual display units in booth L607 at the Taipei World Trade Center in Nangang. They include the GT780, GT683, and GE620 of the G Series, the F Series’ FX620DX and FX420, the CX480, CX640, and CX670 of the C Series, and the X Series' X460 and X370.
GT780—breaking speed records
Eric Kuo, associate vice president for global sales, MSI Notebook, explains that the GT780 just broke another world record for speed at the Intel IDF conference held in Beijing last month, racking up more than 20,000 points on PC Mark Vantage. MSI also worked closely with SteelSeries to design a combat keyboard for the GT780 specifically for the extreme gamer. The GT780 and GT683 both sport the nVidia GTX560M, which is making its debut at this year's Computex, giving them unparalleled display performance. The X460 comes with Intel 2nd generation Core™ i7 processor and MSI's own heat dispersion technology, giving it performance unprecedented in an ultra-slim computer. In addition, the CX670 packs AMD’s new generation, power-sipping, high-performance CPU produced using nano technology, making it the ultimate multimedia laptop computer.

G Series continues to break records
MSI is rolling out the newest additions to its G Series of gaming notebooks at Computex 2011. The GT780, GT683, and GE620 all pack Intel second generation Core™ i7 quad core processors under the hood. The Ctrl and Alt keys are also larger to keep you from unintentionally hitting nearby keys when the bullets are flying.

MSI will be unveiling new additions to its C Series of multimedia notebook computers at Computex 2011. They include the 15.6-inch CX670 and CX640 and the 14-inch CX480.
