It’s because the system camera device can only be used by an application at a time. When the Windows Studio Effect feature is manually turned ON, the Camera device will be occupied to support relevant features and is unable to support another application such as Tobii Aware.

 

Most Tobii Aware features will require the support of the IR Camera, for example, the Peeker detection in Security and privacy, Window snap, Warp mouse pointer between screens in Attention Screen navigation, etc.,

 

To utilize these features of Tobii Aware, you may click on the bottom right notification area and disable Windows Studio Effect first, then launch Tobii Aware to turn it ON to apply the function at your need.
