For MSI models powered by Intel Core i9 14900HX, Intel Application Optimization is a software that determines and directs application resource optimization in real-time. It will optimize overall out of box experience and offer additional performance for selected applications. However, if encountered error message "Failed to Connect", please follow the instructions below to troubleshoot





1. Visit the MSI website and find the product support page for your product by searching your product name



2. Download the Intel® IPF Driver & Intel® Dynamic Tuning Driver from the product support page



 



3. Disconnect the laptop from the internet



4. Right-click Window icon at the taskbar, open Device Manager



    



5. Go to SoftwareComponent > Find Dynamic Tuning Technology Device Extension Component  &  Dynamic Tuning Technology Updater Component  



   



6. Right-click the driver and select uninstall device (make sure you click "Attempt to remove the driver for this device"



    



7. Stay in SoftwareCompnent session > Find Intel Innovation Platform Framework Base Provider & Intel Innovation Platform Framework Extensible Framework Component



   



8. Repeat step six to remove the driver



   



9. Go to SystemDevice > Find all drivers related to Intel Innovation Platform Framework and repeat step six to remove the driver



    



    



10. Unzip the IPF & DTT drivers downloaded previously



11. Open IPF driver folder, right-click the install.batch file, select "Run as Admin" (Make sure move on to the next one after the pop-out Window is atuomatcially closed.



    



12. Repeat step 11 to install DTT driver



    



13. Restart the laptop to apply changes



14. After restart, you will see the optimization is enabled after opening the Intel Application Optimization.
