With the Copilot Key being introduced to the Windows PC keyboard, the Copilot key will become a core part of the PC keyboard to invoke the Copilot in the Windows experience. The Copilot feature will be set as enabled by default for MSI laptops that come with a Copilot key.
For the notebook system which doesn't come with a Copilot key, the latest Windows Update still provides Copilot. Refer to the step-by-step installation guide below.
Enabling Microsoft Copilot
1. Update the Windows OS build to 23H2 (build 22631)
For MSI laptops with Windows 11 OS, please ensure to update the Windows OS build to version 23H2 (build 22631). You may also turn on the toggle of “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” in the Windows Update Settings
2. Check the supporting region; the following markets do not support Copilot due to local regulations
*For regions that do not support Copilot, pressing the Copilot key will invoke Windows Search.

Launching Microsoft Copilot
There are multiple access where you can activate the Copilot feature:
1. Windows Key + C / Copilot Key
2. The Copilot shortcut at the Task Bar
*Tips: You may also go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar to enable/disable the toggle for Copilot
3. The Copilot launcher in Microsoft Edge
Open the Microsoft Edge browser, and you will find a Copilot launcher in the search bar at the top.
