Batman: Arkham Knight from Steam crashes at launch issue is known to be related to the game developer, as the game is not recognized Intel graphics properly to be used by the game.

It's suggested to report this issue to the game developer, but as a temporary workaround, please refer to the steps below.

A. Launch Batman: Arkham Knight in Windows mode

    1. Open the game properties in Steam.

    2. Under “General” tab, key in “-windowed” in Launch Options.

        

B. Replacing a modified dxgi.dll file

*Note: This workaround increases start-up time as the fix forcibly injects an Intel graphics device to be used as the first device by the game. This is not compatible with other workarounds that shares the same DLL file name. (reference)

     1. Download DXGI.zip file. 

     2. Extract the included dxgi.dll into <path-to-game>/Binaries/Win64 and overwrite files if needed.
