Answer

Windows 10 system which installed with specific versions of Intel VGA generic driver (22.20.16.4815, 22.20.16.4771, 22.20.16.4729 and 22.20.16.4749) will cause the abnormal display after system resumes from the sleep or hibernate mode.

*Please first make sure that the system has the Windows 10 Version 1607 (Build 14393; Anniversary Update aka. Redstone 1) or newer version updated and then update the latest Intel VGA driver to solve the problem.

Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Get the latest Windows 10 build by following FAQ_2410.

2. Confirm that the Intel VGA driver has been updated automatically and the problem is solved after the update.
(Check the driver version by right click on the desktop, select Intel Graphics Settings > Options and Support > Information Center > Driver Version)
3. If the Intel VGA driver is not updated automatically, please manually update the latest version by following the steps below.
a. Enter the Device Manager.
b. Double click on the "Intel graphics" under "Display Adapter".
c. Click on "Update Driver" under Driver tab.
d. Select "Search automatically for updated driver software".
e. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the driver update.
