MSI Notebooks supports multiple-graphics platform designs on different series and laptop models. To confirm which platform design is supported on a particular laptop, please refer to the MUX Switch column in the FAQs below:



- Laptops with 13th Gen Intel Processors



- Laptops with 12th Gen Intel Processors

- MUX Switch (NVIDIA discrete graphics & MSHybrid)



- MUX Switch (NVIDIA discrete graphics & MSHybrid) w/Intel Integrated Graphics*1

*1Note: Intel Integrated Graphics mode is supported only on 13th Gen Intel Processor laptops, previous generations' models don't have this option.



 



On laptop models that support MSHybrid and Integrated Graphics mode, please refer to the following on how to install the graphics drivers correctly.



*Note: If the system is in Integrated Graphics mode, the NVIDIA graphics card will not be detected by the system, and installing its driver in this mode will fail. Hence, please switch to MSHybrid Graphics mode before starting the installation process.



1. First, install the Intel Graphics driver and reboot the system.
