To optimize battery performance and improve battery life, please refer to the instructions below.



1.    Change User Scenario in Dragon Center/ Creator Center/ MSI Center/ MSI Center Pro.

-    For the laptops supporting UWP version Dragon Center/ Creator Center/ MSI Center/ MSI Center Pro, go to User Scenario and select “Super Battery” mode.

-    For the laptops supporting Win32 version Dragon Center/ Creator Center, go to “System Tuner” tab and select ECO / Super Battery in “Shift” mode.  



2.    Reduce the display brightness: Adjust the brightness in Windows Quick Settings or use function keys.

3.    Turn off the applications which are not in use: Close the unused programs and the background processes in the system tray.

4.    Remove the peripherals which are not in use: Unplug the unused external devices including external monitors, external sound card, or flash drives.

5.    Turn off the lighting devices: Use function keys to disable the keyboard lighting and disable the other lighting devices in SteelSeries Engine/ SteelSeries GG.

6.    Change Windows Power Plan: Apply power efficiency mode.

-    For Windows 10 operating system, click on the battery icon in the system tray and drag the slider to “Better battery”.

-    For Windows 11 operating system, go to Settings > System > Power & battery, apply “Best power efficiency”. 



7.    Enable power saver mode: To conserve more battery power, enable power saver mode to decrease display brightness, and limit notifications and background activity.

-    For Windows 10 operating system, click on the Notification Center and enable “Battery saver”.

-    For Windows 11 operating system, click on the Quick Settings and enable “Battery saver”.

8.    Disable WiFi, Bluetooth, Location services if not in use: 

-    For Windows 10 operating system, turn off Bluetooth, WiFi, and Location in the Notification Center if not in use.

-    For Windows 11 operating system, turn off Bluetooth and WiFi in Quick Settings if not in use, and go to Settings > Privacy & security > Location, then disable Location services.
