MSI Philippines once again made its contribution to the local e-Sports scene via “MSI BEAT IT! 2013: Overdrive Reloaded”. The three-day event which opened last August 30 gathered gamers across the country and showcased MSI gaming laptops, desktop and All-in-One PCs at the SM North EDSA, Manila. With PHP 500,000 (USD 11.6K) worth of cash prizes & freebies given away and thousands of attendees, this year’s edition is considered to be MSI’s biggest gaming festival yet. |

Game on for the win! Gamers from different genres were given a chance to bring home the MSI Beat It! 2013 trophies in the six official tournament titles, namely DOTA 2, Mercenary Online, Avatar Star, Dragon Nest, StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, and CS:GO with Dreamz, Anbu 1, CN Gaming, Kai Illedan, Byron "Pacific.Steelheart" Bongon, and TNC Gaming, respectively emerging victorious. Mineski’s Assault Fire Pro Tour and TNC Gaming's SteelSeries Students League were also featured. In addition to the cash prize, CS:GO champion team TNC Gaming will also be representing the Philippines in the MSI Beat It! SEA Regional Final in Beijing, China in November. Travel expenses will be supported by MSI. |

PC Enthusiasts unite |

| Rig modding cum LAN party, "Volunteer Your Rigs", cosplay, and sim racing challenge were featured as side activities to cater to PC enthusiasts, besides the tournament participants. Rig modding winner Weciel Cardaño took home an MSI Z87 MPower overclocking motherboard as she bested the other contestants with her entry, “Project G-Spot”. Meanwhile, apart from each receiving an exclusive MSI Beat It! 2013 jacket, an MSI H87M G43 motherboard and an MSI Dragon Edition SteelSeries Siberia V2 headset were raffled off among the “Volunteer Your Rig” participants. | |

Up and coming artist Shehyee, also performed with Mineski shoutcaster and MSI’s own ambassador, Bianca Yao, who debuted her singing talent at the event. Two members of the MSI-sponsored team Fnatic, h4nn1 and Trixi from their DOTA 2 roster, were present throughout the event as they figured in a 2v2 and all-star matches. |
