Leading gaming notebook manufacture MSI featured heavily at the world’s largest game show – Tokyo Game Show 2014. MSI brought not only their full lineup of mobile gaming hardware, but also fellow gaming peripheral manufacturers SteelSeries as well as the monitor wizards Eizo for the four expo days, Sep 18-21.


On display were MSI’s most powerful gaming notebooks equipped with high-end NVIDIA GeForce GTX 800M series graphics cards and MSI exclusive features, such as Super RAID 2, Killer DoubleShot networking and SteelSeries keyboards with SteelSeries Engine software. Other features demonstrated were XSplit Gamecaster software, a game streaming app, as well as Denmark’s finest in speaker technology, Dynaudio, whose speakers you can exclusively experience in the MSI G-series of notebooks.


In order to best cater for gamers, MSI set up four gaming sections along with supporting vendors – LoL, AVA, TERA and World of Tanks were all featured, both as tournaments and plain exhibition matches. Winners of the AVA competition – Team Galactic and Team DeToNator from Japan were invited to battle it out in real time.

In addition to this, gaming super star Patrik Sättermon from Fnatic was also invited to give a speech and for a meet & greet, embodying the best parts of MSI’s gaming spirit in one live show.
