[Taipei, Taiwan] The launch of the 12th Gen Intel Core processors are the center of all attention. MSI followed Intel’s step and announced the brand new Z690 motherboards. We think about what our customers need, we try to meet their demands and solve their problems. To address these concerns, MSI is introducing a new concept known as: "Powered by MSI".

The latest 12th Gen Core processor is the first to incorporate Intel 7 process technology and Hybrid Architecture. To match the performance of the 12th Gen Core processors, all MSI Z690 Series motherboards are upgraded. All MSI Z690 motherboards support PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 solution as well. To uphold the high end graphics cards, the PCIe 5.0 slots are equipped with 4 extra solder points which are embedded in the PCB.

All MSI Z690 lineup provides a DDR5 solution as well. Thanks to MSI's exclusive Memory Boost, the MSI Z690 motherboards have great stability and performance. According to the MSI OC LAB test, it acquires more than 30% improvement of memory frequency. To offer greater choices for all users, the DDR4 version of both Gaming and PRO Series is available too.

As for storage, the Z690 Series motherboards have up to 5 onboard M.2 slots, including a maximum of 4 M.2 Gen4 slots.

For user-friendliness, all MSI Z690 lineup is equipped with EZ M.2 Clip. With a simple rotation, users can install M.2 SSD easily and quickly.

One of our feedback surveys indicates that many DIY users experienced some form of compatibility issue during PC assembly. To address these concerns, MSI is introducing a new concept known as: "Powered by MSI", which aims to provide a brand new experience to the DIY community. It keeps the flexibility of a DIY PC and offers the stability of a desktop. With Powered By MSI products, users no longer need to worry about compatibility and stability risks. We put in a lot of effort to make sure all MSI products including motherboard, liquid cooler, power supply unit, and PC case, work well with one another.

To tie things together, MSI Center and motherboard BIOS provide a convenient way to manage your system. You can monitor real-time system information such as CPU voltage, CPU temperature, system fan speed, and more. You can synchronize the RGB lighting across your entire setup. You can customize the fan speed based on the temperatures of the VRM, CPU, M.2, and PCIe devices. You can also keep your drivers and BIOS updated through MSI Center.

The flexibility of connectors is important for most DIY users, and MSI keeps that in mind. All MSI Z690 motherboards adopted front Type-C. The MEG Series even used USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 with a transfer speed of up to 20Gbps, which is a perfect match for MSI’s latest PC cases that are the world’s first to support front USB Type-C 20Gbps.
