Speakers & great output quality are such important part in our live. MSI desktops have built-in high definition audio chips. And desktops allow user to attach personal favorite speaker for audio output. What should we do if speaker get a noise or the sound quality is not clear? This article will bring you some useful suggestions for checking audio trouble.
Reinstall the audio driver
• Right click on [This PC] and choose [Properties].
• Select [Devices Manager].
• Expand [Sound, Video and game controllers]->Right click on [Realtek (R) Audio] -> Select [Uninstall device] to uninstall the current audio driver
• Go MSI official website and click the Search icon
e.g. NIGHTBLADE MI3 8TH, type [NIGHTBLADE MI3 8TH] and press [Enter] key to search.
• Select [SUPPORT].
• Go to [Driver] tab
• Choose your operating system
• Click and expand [On-Board Audio Drivers]. Then, download [Audio Driver].
• Right-click on the downloaded file and select [Extract All] to unzip the compressed folder. Then, choose [Setup] to start driver installation.
Choose [NEXT].
• Installing, please wait.
• Choose [Yes, restart up the computer now] and click [Finish] to restart. Then, please check with the speaker noise again.
Test with external speaker
• Make sure audio cable and PC have a tight connection.
• Check the audio port indicator in [Realtek Audio Console]. If there is no any audio device plugin. Please switch another external speaker and try the same step again.
• If the problem still, please cross-testing with another external speaker
o If there is still some noise, it is recommended contact with MSI authorized service center.
o If the noise is gone, it is considered the original speaker may have some problems
