Set Boot Device Priority
This setting allows you to change the boot order for different types of devices, such as optical drives, hard disks, USB devices, etc. This configuration determines which type of device the computer will attempt to boot from first.
1. To enter the BIOS setup, continuously press the "Delete" key during boot to access the BIOS interface. Then, select "Settings" and click on "Boot."
2. In the "Fixed Boot Order Priorities" section, click "Boot Option #1."
3. Typically, "Boot Option #1" should be set to "UEFI Hard Disk" or "Hard Disk." If you want to boot from a USB device, select "UEFI USB Hard Disk."
Set Hard Disk BBS Priority
This feature sets the boot priority for specific devices. For example, if the BIOS is configured to boot from the hard disk first, the BBS priority will determine which hard disk is the preferred boot device. If you only have one hard disk installed, no additional configuration is needed for this option.
1. Click on "UEFI Hard Disk Drive BBS Priority" or "Hard Disk BBS Priority."
2. Click "Boot Option #1."
3. Set "Boot Option #1" as your system hard disk.
For example, if your computer's solid-state drive is the system disk, select "Windows Boot Manager (CT1000P3PSSD8)."
