Nahimic is an audio processing software company from France that used to develop Nahimic audio technology for military, aviation and other purposes. Nowadays, it cooperated with MSI and launched the world’s first solution for best gaming audio.
The main function of Nahimic is to provide the best audio experience to reproduce the original sounds of blazing bullets when gamers are fighting in fierce wars, to feel more open and majestic when fighting, or feel immersed by allowing games and multimedia experiences rise to an all new level.
Downloading and installing Nahimic
1. Enter MSI Website and click the “magnifier” icon on the top-right corner, and then search for the model name; take “MEG Aegis Ti5 12th” for example, press the “Enter key” to perform search.
2. Find you model you are searching for and click “Download”.
3. Click “Utility”, select your current operating system and click “Get it from Microsoft”.
Note: If you did not see Nahimic under the download area of Utilities, it means that your device does not support this software.
4. Click “Get in Store app”.
5. Click “Get”.
6. Click “Open”.
Nahimic function settings
Note: If certain functions cannot be selected (grayed out) under certain modes, it means that that mode does not support this function. For example: “Surround Sound” and “Volume Stabilizer” cannot be used under music mode.
When adjusting the various functions, you can click the “Effects ON” button to enable or disable this function.
Audio
In audio settings, you will see Nahimic has the five modes “Music”, “Movie”, “Communication”, “Gaming” and “Smart”; you can adjust to the suitable mode based on your current usage environment. Of course, you can also fine-tune each mode, such as: bass and treble enhancer.
Clicking “Equalizer” allows you to perform EQ adjustment; Nahimic also provided four preset equalizer modes available for user selection.
Clicking “Try” allows you to hear the sound effects under the current settings.
If you need to reset the mode to its initial settings, simply click “Reset” to restore.
Microphone
Nahimic provided two default modes “Chat” and “Conference” for microphone; you can select and adjust the detailed settings according to your usage scenario, such as: microphone volume, strength, noise suppression, echo cancellation and other functions.
Click “Try” to hear the microphone effects under the current settings.
If you need to reset the mode to its initial settings, simply click “Reset” to restore.
Sound Tracker
Sound Tracker is based on the most advanced surround sound technology; the unique patented Sound Tracker provides visual instructions that allows sound to be better positioned in games. Sound Tracker may be disabled by default; please go to “Settings” → turn on the “Sound Tracker Engine” and restart Nahimic.
"Size" allows you to adjust the size of the Sound Tracker to adjust the size of it.
“Transparency” allows you to adjust the transparency of the Sound Tracker to make it look more or less discrete.
“Color” Click the color circle to open the color editing window. You can apply the color you want on the dynamic part.
“Compatible games” Click this link to open the Nahimic official website and enter the list of compatible games that can display Sound Tracker.
Sound Sharing
After enabling the Sound Sharing function, two sets of headphones (Bluetooth, connector, USB) can be connected simultaneously and listen to the same music.
Settings
Allows selecting the installation language of Nahimic; it can be changed to the language you use.
Nahimic cannot be turned on
If you cannot turn on or initialization failed after you turn on Nahimic, please go to Nahimic Help Center, download and execute the Nahimic recovery tool and try again.
