[Motherboard] How to Check Memory Support Specifications and Support Report?


Viewing Memory Support Specifications

1. Go to the MSI official website, and take the motherboard "MPG Z390M GAMING EDGE AC" as an example. Select the “search” icon in the upper right corner, enter "MPG Z390M GAMING EDGE AC," and press the "Enter" key on the keyboard to search.

2. Find "MPG Z390M GAMING EDGE AC" and click on "Specification."

3. Click on "DETAIL."

4. In the "MEMORY" section, view the memory support specifications.

Checking Memory Support Report

1. Continuing from the "MEMORY" section in the previous step, click on "See supported memory."

2. If the CPU is an i5/i7/i9 processor, click on "Memory by i5/i7/i9.” If the CPU is an i3/Pentium/Celeron series processor, click on "Memory by i3/other.” For example, if the processor model used is i9-9900K, click on "Memory by i5/i7/i9."

3. If the memory model in use matches the information in the compatibility list exactly, it means that the memory is compatible with the MPG Z390M GAMING EDGE AC. If the memory information is not found in the compatibility list, it does not necessarily mean it is incompatible; it means the memory has not been officially tested, and compatibility cannot be guaranteed.
